THE LITTLE MERMAID BY HEART

Meet Ybelle - young, pretty, very talented and smart kid. At the age of 3 she started collecting The Little Mermaid stuff and she promised to herself that when she turns 7 she will have one big party and that she will be a mermaid turned into princess. And that's what happened. Yes!!! dreams do come true, if you believe.

This was one of the biggest breaks for Chalebrations together with Sam and Monique since this was the first back-to-back backdrop ever. Hotel Pontefino was a perfect venue for events/gathering like this. If I can remember, we started planning things as early as November of last year and had a bigger picture by end of February until the party, April. What's amazing was that Ybelle's birthday was actually May but since her dad and tita came on April and cant make it on her birthday, they moved the party 1 month ahead.

This was one powerful party - we had dog show, bubble show and magic

We also had weekly dance practices and I was with The Ultimate Dancers, Ja and Alex - wc for me teaching the kids' dance lesssons wasn't that hard because they were all talented - they really danced gracefully and they were all dedicated. Ybelle's house was a bit far but her family took care of us - never kaming nagutom haha! (we were never hungry haha!) palaging fiesta when we had our practices - papizza, paburger or papancit! Saya! It was really fun. We were treated like their own family members. It was really overwhelming. Hinahatid pa kami pauwe - na pinagpapasalamat namin =) Thank you!!!

We were all grateful that the party turned just the way we wanted. Food was delightful. Balloon Decoration was colorful and brilliant. Venue was perfect. Kids and guests seemed so happy.

Ybelle's birthday was filled with joy, love and happiness and overflowing gifts too!

Thank you to Miss Yllaine (or Miss Tory Burch hehe, she loves designer's bags and stuff btw) and Miss Yvette for having us in this one-powerful-party! Thank you sa Starbucks Tumbler and powerful tip too!!! (we didnt expect it, you guys are the sweetestttt) Super.

POLKA FUN!

I started my day with Starbucks Coffee & I was with The Ultimate Dancers because we had to go to Sto. Tomas (dance practice) for Ryza's upcoming birthday party.
I arrived home at around 1230 or 1pm and honestly my guests were all starving haha! Yes, I was sorry for being late again. I need to work hard you know. wink
I really had fun on my 29th and thank you for all who came.
Thank you lord for 29 wonderful years and more.

365 days of Chalebrations

Chalebrations Events Planning and Management started a year ago. Yes, it has been a year. Thank you Lord we turned 1. (sorry for the late post hihi)

Having a day job where income is fixed, I started thinking of other ways on how to earn more and do something that i love. I started planning things around Feb/March and had our first event last April 2011 - Isabel's first birthday, Luau Themed Party at La Finca Farm and Country Resort. It was one colorful summer, where guests had fresh flowers and hawaian lays.

Chalebrations Events Planning and Management wouldnt be successful without the help of special friends. Glenford/Gio Kalaw - who gave the name Chalebrations - was my mentor when i was still starting. When I was thinking of Party Chic or Fuschia Events, he thought of something more powerful. He combined my name with celebration and had it Chalebrations! Now to complete my biz name – my boss Hazel Taroy (but not reporting directly to her haha) gave the other powerful title - Events Planning and Management. She also made my logo and video/teaser too. Thank you!

Since I was really into parties and social gatherings, I started doing research and started attending seminars/trainings to make my Events Planning and Wedding Coordination business successful. I started having my facebook page and had my own website www.chalebrations.com with the help of a friend again - Carlo Dimaandal www.carlodimaandal.com and had my blog too, with the help of www.cheriecity.com & www.cheriedelrio.blogspot.com, one-fab-fashionista, Cherie Del Rio. Of Chalebrations is really blessed with wonderful suppliers and one of them is Sam and Monique Enterprises.

Our big break came when we had our first official client, themed after Hannah Montana for 7th birthday. I will never forget Gia's 7th birthday held at Hotel PonteFino - where everything was pink and purple.

SUMMER CHIC PARTY | COLEEN'S 18TH

Summer chic party for Coleen's 18th birthday held at Silva's Resort in Lipa City last end of March.

I knew their family because I was referred to be the Party Coordinator by Andy's parents. Thank you!!!

Coleen is currently studying at UST having the course of BS Psychology but wanted to pursue Aviation someday - to fulfill her and his dad's dream - to be a pilot since they are from a family of great pilots.

They were very warm and overwhelming. I have met her mother who's a former teacher, Mrs. Mel - who even gave me a souvenir (for the 18th splashes) from the event. It was a humbling experience to know these wonderful people and be a part of their powerful celebration.

The party started late like 5pm and ended like around 830ish. Thank you Leo - for being the powerful host
and for my team who's always been there to support Chalebrations. Must love the Sunflower cakes and cupcakes from Eunice Bakeshop and must love the cocktail drinks too to welcome guests. Not to mention, i super love the DIY cologne as their souvenirs for the guests.

Coleen was a very talented woman - she can sing, dance and even play violin. She's very simple and elegant yet really smart.

It's really true that the family to prays together,stays together. I've seen the values of Coleens' family and I would like to share it with the others too.

MY BABY PANDA

Sorry for the nth time because I was busyyy, I wasnt able to blog. Now, that I was cleaning my mailbox, here's what I got. The letter I received a couple of months back-

To my beshies in the whole world, it has been what? 4 years with you and walang kasawaan. Never!

We met and joined together as our interests are common and our talents and hopes intertwined.

I don’t know what to write as my tears are clouding my vision …grabe seriously now.

Cha – relax, if you can’t then buy stuff LOL. I know that’s your therapy and then rant n lang after you reciv the bills. Life’s just like that, it’s how we deal with it that matters. I love you forever. Moment natin sa SB like OMG. Lablab forever

Rey – keep your cool, and don’t overstress youself too much and overthink and overkill coz it’s OA na!

Will miss you forever. Lablab forever!

Be the best ok, and if time’s not that good, still stand out, please lang and don’t you ever quit. Look out for each other – don’t be that busy to forget coz if one is important no day is too busy, no work is too strenuous, no time is too short.

Remember – the words that I coined before “we will never quit, we are not quitters”. Please do this for me. Continue and march on.

I will not boast my leadership or management skills but will look directly to the people that I’ve worked and developed and then they can judge me. I don’t have that process improvement plans that were executed nor any action plans that hugely impacted the business but I am proud and will always holler (charot) the people that I have worked with and people I have influenced, like you. Proud that you have became TL for Rey, TA Sr. Specialist for Cha and I was never wrong in choosing you as my best friends – super proud pa rin ako.
